Network Cabling FAQs

We install Cat 5e, Cat6 and Fibre Optic structured cabling for data, voice and wifi solutions for businesses and home.

The best time to run cabling in homes is when you’re getting building or electrical work done and before redecoration. In a nicely decorated home, surface run cabling may be unsightly so a good quality Mesh wifi system installed by us may be a better and cheaper alternative.

For larger businesses with a large amount of data traffic or a heavily used home networks, Cat6 would be a better choice. For most situations however, Cat 5e cabling is more than sufficient and is also cheaper to run.

With a correctly setup router and wireless access points, yes, they are secure. Where you would like to have multiple wifi networks such as for a business and guest network, we would set the access points and router up accordingly.
