PC & Laptop Rentals FAQs

Rentals can be as short as one day and up to 3 months. Longer than that and it often becomes more cost effective to purchase. We can also look at longer leases for businesses typically over 24 or 36 month terms.

The laptop will come with updated Windows, Firefox, Chrome, Zoom, pdf reader, Libre Office all ready to go. You are then free to install whatever licensed software you want, although this is you own responsibility. The rental machine will be secure data wiped after it is returned to us at the end of the rental period.

When you take out a rental, you initially pay for the rental and refundable deposit up to the value of the machine. If you decide you want to keep the machine, you would simply let us know. We would convert the rental into a sale on the paperwork and you simply keep the machine. You would receive the balance of any hardware warranty as if you had purchased the machine at the outset.

If the machine is stolen, lost or if it’s physically damaged (spillage, cracked screen etc) this would affect the deposit you receive back. The safekeeping of the machine is your own responsibility. Any other (warranty) issue would be repaired in store or you would receive an equivalent replacement machine.
